We are based in Toowoomba and service the Darling Downs and all surrounding areas. Who are we… We Are Livewired Electrical.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our team as a Part time/Contract Accounts Officer.

This is a busy role which includes working with both customers and multiple staff. You will need to be confident to manage a busy workload and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and directions.

This role will commence 28th January 2020 with the contract finishing in September 2020.


  • Experience in accounting duties, including BAS, Payroll Tax and Superannuation.
  • Experience in the use of accounting programs is essential – Xero preferred.
  • Above average Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to liaise with all levels of personnel including staff, Management and clients
  • Class C drivers’ license is essential.
  • Experience in the electrical industry would be advantageous.

  • Processing of Accounts Payable/Receivable and managing cash flow
  • Processing of EOM Bills
  • Lodgment of PAYG and BAS as required
  • Processing Payroll and ensuring company is up to date with current legislation
  • Lodgment of staff Superannuation
  • Perform bank reconciliation for all accounts
  • Other duties as assigned

This is a Contract part time position with hours being flexible, you will be required on Monday’s and Tuesday’s

Remuneration will depend upon experience and qualifications, this will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
